Seafield Caravan Park Visitors Charter

Here at Seafield we care about the environment. Listed below are some small steps that may go a long way to reduce our impact on the environment.

Reduce, Re-use and Recycle
Use our hessian Seafield shopper bags.
Only buy what you will use on your holiday.
Recycling points available throughout the park.

Give the car a rest – walk, cycle or hop on the bus
If you fancy a change of scenery why not give your car a rest and explore the coast or countryside on foot, bike or by using public transport. Bicycles may be hired from park reception. Bus timetables are also available.

Stay Local, Eat Local and See Local
Supporting local businesses helps to keep Northumberland’s unique character. Details of the local markets can be found in your welcome pack and park reception.

Respect Nature and the Local Community
Help us to look after our environment for future generations by guarding against fire, taking litter with you and using footpaths and cycle ways responsibly. We work hard to maintain the unique, natural environment here at Seafield with our David Bellamy Gold conservation awards for 11 years running.

Be Energy and Water Wise
Energy saving initiatives on the park include solar panels, low wattage lighting and timer devices for both water and lighting. Further energy savings can be made with your help – turn lights off when they are not needed, keep windows closed when the heating is on, turn heating off when caravan unoccupied. Water can be saved by turning the tap off when brushing your teeth. Fill a washing bowl for dishes rather than using a running tap and use full loads in washing machines. Utilise clothes airers found in your caravan rather than use the drier in the laundry.
